church today

Postby buzzcody1 » Sun Jan 4, 2009 4:46 pm

Church was good. It was on surrendering to God. Paster Hanson said its like a dam were trying to brake that dam open but its taking a while. The water in the dam is a lot of power. That can cause revival... but its breaking piece by piece. Why isnt there a revival & why aint the dam opened? The answer us are human nature.

acts2:38: Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,[1] who Or works together with those who love him to bring about what is good–with those who have been called according to his purpose.

He did mention once that what were doing is like breaking down a wall or dam, so the water can break through. Or in our case the harvest of lost souls can break. So everytime we pray, push through in a service, or do God's will in anyway we are breaking down that wall that is stoping the major harvest that is coming. HE said it in like 15 secs tho so it would have been easy to miss

Thanks Flash, that explains it. I think I also got knocked back by the comment about God being a gentleman.
