acts2:38: Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,[1] who Or works together with those who love him to bring about what is good–with those who have been called according to his purpose.

Matthew chapter 9

in matthew chapter 4 it says 8Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor.9“All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”

does anyone know where that mountain was?

wow Jesus defeated the devil with the word.

Salt and Light
13“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.

14“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.15Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.16In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

what is salt and light?

Wow I was reading Matt 4, and the first verse really stood out to me.
I won't go into all the thoughts that came to me, but here are some of the main ones that came to me:
1)He was lead of the spirit, so it was God's will for Jesus to go into this barren land.
2)It was God's will for Jesus to be tempted of the devil.
3)THere was no one to lay hands on, no one to heal, no outward signs of this being productive. But this was a very important time that came BEFORE Jesus' awesome world changing ministry.

anyway those were some of the basic ideas that I got and a few more that I need to pray more about and study, think about.

It is amazing how one verse in the Bible can say more then a whole book
"There is nothing more cool then being a radical worshiper" ~ Wayne Francis
"Sock it to me Jesus!" ~ William Tremblay
